Start the day right with a visit to the BAXTUR breakfast buffet! Offering a simple selection of tasty products, hot drinks and juices for 2,700 ISK, Breakfast is served every days from 7:00 to 10:00. The mornings at BAXTUR remind of the good old days when the building was still a biscuit factory.

Until 1989 beer was prohibited in Iceland (nobody really knows why) so we have some catching up to do... Our bar is open everyday until 23:00. You can enjoy a frosty pint of a local lager or ale as well as cocktails, spirits, and selected wines, all at fair prices! Whether you're a hostel guest or a local, you're warmly welcome to join us in a cozy, creatively designed space.

Our restaurant is currently closed, but don’t worry—it’s not a permanent vacation! We’re planning to reopen in summer 2025 with a brand-new concept. You can still expect the same great vibe and delicious, affordable food, just with a fresh KEX twist. Stay tuned for the grand reopening! ✨
